Logo and theme customisation

You can customise 5mins to match your organization's brand by uploading your logo and choosing the colours used across the platform. This article covers where to find these settings and what you can change.

Steps shown in this video

  1. Branding lives in Admin → Account & Settings
  2. Open the Layout tab to find your branding options
  3. Under Theme colours, set the colours for your login pages and navigation — header bar, menu items, and the selected item
  4. Click Edit Theme to customise, preview against Light and Dark, then save — or Reset to Default anytime
  5. Under Logo, upload separate light- and dark-mode logos so your brand stays legible in both themes

Where to find customisation settings

In the admin portal, open Account & Settings from the main menu, then select the Layout tab. This is where your branding options live.

Theme colours

Under Theme colours, you can choose the colours that best represent your brand. These apply to your sign-up / login pages and your navigation. You can set:

  • Header bar colour
  • Navigation menu items colour
  • Selected menu item colour

You can preview your choices against both Light and Dark themes before saving, and there's a Reset to Default option if you'd like to return to the standard 5mins colours at any time.

Under the Logo section, you can upload your organization's logo. You can provide:

  • A logo for light backgrounds
  • A separate dark-mode logo, so it stays legible when learners use the dark theme

Upload the image you'd like to use, and you can remove or replace it later from the same screen.

Other layout options

The Layout tab also includes options for your default homepage and landing page, so you can tailor what learners see when they arrive.
