Enabling Microsoft SSO

This article is for IT admins whose organisation uses Microsoft 365. Once a Microsoft admin approves 5Mins for your whole organisation, your team can sign up and sign in with Continue with Microsoft in 1 click.

Before you start: you'll need someone with Microsoft Entra admin rights (for example a Global Administrator or Cloud Application Administrator) to complete these steps.

Recommended steps

1. Ask any Microsoft admin to sign up on app.5mins.ai using Sign Up >> Continue with Microsoft

2. This creates their 5Mins account and enables Microsoft SSO for their organisation

3. After sign up is complete, the MS admin must go to Entra >> Home >> Enterprise Applications and search for "5Mins"

4. Click on the 5Mins app, go to Permissions, and click "Grant admin consent for [organization name]"

5. Optionally, assign users/groups who should have access under "Users and groups"

Expected result: your team can now click Continue with Microsoft on the 5Mins login page and sign in without being asked for admin approval. If someone sees a Microsoft message that the app "needs admin approval", admin consent hasn't been granted yet - repeat steps 3-4.
