Understanding Courses and Assessments π
What are Courses? π
Courses on 5mins.ai are structured learning experiences that combine multiple lessons, assessments, and resources into a comprehensive learning path. Unlike individual lessons, courses provide a complete learning journey with clear objectives and outcomes.

Common Questions About Courses β
What's the difference between a course and individual lessons?
Courses are structured learning paths with multiple lessons, assessments, and clear objectives. Individual lessons are standalone content pieces.
Q: Can I skip ahead in a course?
It depends on the course settings. Some allow free navigation while others require sequential completion.
What happens if I miss the due date?
Depending on settings, you may still have access but might not earn a certificate. Check with your manager about extensions.
How do I know if a course has a pass score?
The pass score appears on the Score tab. If there's no Score tab, the course doesn't have assessments.
Why can't I fast forward through videos?
Some courses disable fast forwarding to ensure thorough learning. This is set by your organization.
How long do I have access to completed courses?
Completed courses typically remain accessible for reference, but check with your organization's policy.
Why does my course show as "In Progress" when I completed all the lessons?
You may need to complete assessments or case studies. Check the Progress tab to see which items still need completion.
I completed everything but my progress is stuck at 90% - what's missing?
Check if there are hidden assessments, case studies, or if you need to meet the pass score requirement. The Progress tab shows exactly what's incomplete.
My course progress reset or disappeared - what happened?
Course progress is tied to your enrollment. If you were re-enrolled or the course was updated, your progress might reset. Contact support for assistance.
Why can't I see my course completion percentage? A: Course completion percentages appear on the Progress tab. If you don't see it, the course might not track percentage-based progress or you may need to refresh the page.
