Google SSO — Available Out of the Box

Google SSO (Out of the Box)

Google sign-in is built into 5Mins.ai and available to your users by default. No admin setup is required to turn it on.

What's enabled by default

Every login screen offers Continue with Google alongside the other built-in methods (Microsoft, Apple, phone, and email/password). You don't need to register an app, manage OAuth credentials, or flip a setting — it's ready to use.

How your users sign in

  1. On the login page, the user clicks Continue with Google.

  2. They select which Google account to use (they're always prompted to choose).

  3. They're signed in and returned to 5Mins.ai.

How accounts are matched

  • Users are matched to their 5Mins.ai account by email address.

  • If a user previously signed up with email/password using the same address, signing in with Google links to that same account — they don't end up with a duplicate.

How this differs from Enterprise SSO

Out-of-the-box Google sign-in is not the same as Enterprise SSO:

Your OIDC/SAML provider

When it applies

Default for all users

When your org's domain is routed to a configured provider

Note: If your organization has Enterprise SSO configured, users on your domain may be routed to that provider instead of the default Google option. If you want centralized, domain-enforced sign-in, set up Enterprise SSO separately.
